How do I hire a full-time virtual assistant? Tell Talentige what you want off your plate. We recruit in the Philippines, Latin America, Morocco and Egypt, test candidates on real admin work, and send you 3–5 finalists in about 14 days. You choose. Your VA then works full-time, only for you, on your schedule, while we handle the background check, contract, payment in your currency and Hubstaff time tracking.

This isn't a VA subscription or a shared assistant. It's your own team member, without the cost of a local hire.

How we interview and test virtual assistants

Anyone can say they're organised. We make candidates prove it before you meet them:

  1. Written and oral English tests. A formal test in writing and in conversation. French or Spanish tests too, when you want them.
  2. Communication assessment. Can they write a clear, polite email to your customer, and explain a problem on a call without rambling?
  3. Practical admin tasks. Inbox triage, scheduling across time zones, a spreadsheet exercise and a written follow-up, scored for accuracy, speed and judgment.
  4. Recruiter interview. Experience, tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, CRMs, project tools), reliability and the hours they can commit to.
  5. AI training for some roles, so your VA uses AI tools to draft, summarise and research faster.
  6. Your interview, then a background check on the finalist you choose.

Your VA's first 30 days

WhenWhat happens
Week 1Access to your inbox, calendar and tools. Your VA shadows your routine, documents how you like things done and takes over the first recurring tasks.
Week 2They own your calendar and a daily inbox sweep, and send you an end-of-day summary. You review and correct. They adjust fast.
Weeks 3–4Full ownership of the agreed task list, with checklists they've written themselves. You stop thinking about the admin.
Day 30Talentige checks in with you and your VA, and we fix anything early. Hubstaff shows hours and activity from day one.

Frequently asked questions about hiring a virtual assistant

What's the difference between a Talentige virtual assistant and a VA service?
Most VA services sell you hours from a shared assistant who also works for other clients, and the agency keeps the relationship. A Talentige VA is a full-time hire you choose from 3–5 finalists. They work only for you, on your schedule, inside your tools, and join your team as a contractor. You pay a one-time fixed placement fee that depends on the role, with no retainer by default (a small optional retainer applies only if you want us to manage payment and admin monthly).
How much does it cost to hire a full-time virtual assistant?
Typical full-time pay through Talentige is about $900–$1,100 a month in Egypt, $1,000–$1,300 in Morocco and the Philippines, and $1,000–$1,800 across Latin America. The US median for an administrative assistant is about $47,500 a year before benefits (BLS). You pay nothing until you hire.
What can a virtual assistant do for me?
Inbox and calendar management, scheduling, data entry, CRM updates, research, document and spreadsheet work, travel booking, customer follow-ups, order processing and supplier admin. If the task is repeatable and done on a computer, a good VA can own it.
Where is the best place to hire a virtual assistant?
The Philippines for strong English and a long tradition of supporting US companies, Latin America for Spanish and US time zones, Morocco for English plus French, and Egypt for English plus Arabic and the most cost-effective rates. We help you choose on the call.
Will my virtual assistant work my hours?
Yes. Your VA works the schedule you set, any time zone, any shift, and follows your company's holiday calendar apart from maybe one or two local holidays you agree upfront.
How do you test virtual assistants?
Every candidate passes written and oral English tests (plus French or Spanish if you want them), communication assessments and practical admin tasks: inbox triage, scheduling, spreadsheets and written follow-ups. For some roles they also complete our AI training, so they use AI tools to work faster.
How fast can I hire a virtual assistant?
You'll meet 3–5 vetted finalists in about 14 days. Once you choose, we run the background check, set up the contract and payment, and help you onboard.
What if my VA doesn't work out?
Every placement has a 90-day replacement guarantee, with terms confirmed in writing for your role before you start.
